how to obtain
resort credit

Day-of product exchanges or refunds are not permitted with no exceptions. You must obtain your resort credit by 11:59 PM the night before your ski day.

Change of Plans? No Problem. Exchange your ticket for resort credit.

After making a purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your account in the Sipapu Self-Service Portal. Here, you’ll be able to select the products you’d like to exchange and view your purchase history instantly – no waiting and no emailing required. Unsure of when you’re skiing next? When you exchange, you’ll receive resort credit in the amount of your purchase, which you’ll have until April 30, 2024, to use.

Exchanges & Resort Credit

Eligible service/product exchanges must be completed by midnight (11:59 p.m. MT) the night before your visit. Day-of exchanges are not permitted, without exception. When you exchange a purchase for resort credit, that resort credit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Log into the customer portal to make exchanges.

Resort credits are valid until April 30, 2024.

  • Find your most recent confirmation email
  • Scroll to the bottom to find “My Account”
  • Click on Manage Purchases
  • Follow the prompts to exchange your product. If no purchases appear, you have no products eligible for exchange.
  • Your resort credit balance will appear. Note your swipe number and pin. Use your resort credit for another purchase, including lift tickets, lessons, rentals, on the food ordering system for the restaurant or in person at the store. Resort credit expires on the last day of April.

Ticket, Rental, Lesson exchanges & Resort Credit FAQs

How can I change my lift tickets and/or rentals?

You may exchange your purchases for resort credit up until midnight the day before validation by going into your online portal. Your welcome email contains the link to your portal. Please bookmark that page if you have not already done so. From your online portal, choose Exchange and proceed through the process to exchange your purchases for resort credit.

To use your resort credit for another purchase simply click on the credit card tab at checkout and choose gift cards.* Enter your resort credit number and PIN, and you’re done. Any remaining balances can be paid by credit card.

*You may only use one resort credit per transaction. If you have several that you want to use, you need to split up your new purchases.

Is there a time limit on when I can change my plans?

You may exchange your lift tickets, rental products and lessons anytime up to midnight (11:59 pm MT) the night before your visit. If you forget, or are unable to change your itinerary by that time, your purchase costs will be forfeited.

Can I change anything else on my itinerary, like lodging?

At this time, changes are available for lift tickets, lessons and rentals.

What happens if I lose my Sipapu Card?

Your Sipapu Card is like a debit card. Your account is tied to your name and birth date. If you lose your Sipapu Card, simply pick up another card (you’ll be charged $1) and enter that card number and PIN. Your information will be transferred to the new card.

How much does it cost to change my tickets or rentals?

Sipapu does not charge any fees when your plans change. Sometimes you may be asked to pay more if your new products/services cost more than your original.

Is there a limit to how many times I change my plans?

No. Sipapu gives you the freedom to ski and change your plans as much as you want. Just remember to use your credit by April 30.

Can I share my credit with a friend or another family member?

Yes! You may use your credit to make purchases for yourself or anyone else.

If I purchased a lift ticket, can I use that credit for something else?

Yes. You may apply your resort credit towards lift tickets, rentals and lessons.

Can I apply my credit to a future season?

All credits must be used by April 30, 2024. If you are unable to use or share your credit by that time, your purchase costs will be forfeited.
