We’re Opening November 21st – First in New Mexico! 🎿
Hey Sipapu family! We’re officially opening this Friday, November 21st, making us the very first resort in New Mexico to kick off the 2025-26 ski season!
That’s right, while other mountains are still waiting for Mother Nature’s go-ahead, we’re firing up the Big Magic Carpet – Lift 2, and welcoming you back to your home mountain just in time for Thanksgiving week. How’s that for perfect timing?
Opening Day Fun Starts at 9 AM
Here’s what you can expect when we throw open the doors on Friday:
What’s Open:
- Guest Services, Rentals, and Pro Shop (all the essentials!)
- Our beloved Riverside Café (because skiing works up an appetite)
- The big magic carpet and Lift 2 conveyor lift
- Lower Bambi trail to get those legs warmed up
What’s Coming: We’ll be opening more terrain throughout Thanksgiving week as conditions allow. Trust us, we’re just as eager as you are to get more of the mountain spinning!
The Good Stuff You Need to Know
Tickets & Reservations: Remember, you’ll need to snag your lift tickets and rentals in advance at sipapu.ski – no walk-ups this year, but honestly, it helps us take better care of you anyway!
Season Pass Holders: Swing by Guest Services to pick up your pass.
Amazing Deals: Lift tickets start at just $19, and here’s the sweet part – Thanksgiving week tickets come with $10 in Sipapu Bonus Bucks. That’s free money to spend at the café or shop!
Safety First: It’s early season, so let’s all be smart out there. Take it easy on those first few runs and remember what those ski edges feel like again.
