A Nearly Four-Story Snow Castle: February Fun Fest 2026 Recap!
The first thing you noticed last weekend at Sipapu?
The snow castle.
Standing nearly four stories tall, this year’s castle was the centerpiece of our 2026 February Fun Fest — and once again, it was the highlight for families with young children.
Built over many days by our amazing mountain crew, the castle features:
- 6 snow slides
- A 15-foot tunnel
- Tons of steps, platforms, and lookout spots for kids to explore
From open to close, it was packed with laughter, snow pants, and kids racing back up for “just one more slide.”
And the best part? The snow castle is completely FREE to access and will stay up through Sunday, March 8. There’s still time to come play.
A Family Favorite Weekend
February Fun Fest continues to be one of Sipapu’s most popular events for families — especially those with younger kids. Last weekend a few fresh inches of snow from earlier in the week, and a mountain full of energy.
Between the plushie scavenger hunt, family-friendly games, and a full day on the slopes, it was exactly what a ski day should be: fun, relaxed, and centered around time together with the family.
There’s Still Time to Play
If you’re planning a visit before the snow castle goes away on Sunday, March 8, don’t forget:
Buy lift tickets online by midnight before arrival. Select days include Bonus Bucks — meaning every qualifying ticket comes with $10 to spend anywhere at the resort.
February Fun Fest may be over, but the castle is still standing. We’ll see you on the slides.
